ABOUT ME

I am a Chicago based actor. I am originally from Joliet, Illinois where I became passionate about dance, particularly ballet. I continue to take regular classes today. I became one of the original members of Midwest Dance Theatre, Indianapolis for 8 years. From there I danced and sang (chorus) in Community Theatre musicals and progressed to serious drama and comedy. Both dramatic and comedic theatre roles have been, and continue to be, my favorite exciting adventures. With my dance background and experience at this point in my life, I consider myself an actor who can move well.
Besides theatre, I have pursued film, TV, print and industrials. I have appeared in Chicago Med, several
independent films, print and industrials.

I am physically active, still taking regular ballet classes as well as workouts at the gym, where I focus on muscle conditioning, kickboxing and swimming. I am quite adventurous, having skydived twice (ok, tandem) and took several aeriel arts classes. I like working on the lyra most.

I worked as a Registered Nurse for 49 years. My career experience has provided me with skills in Emergency Care, Critical Care and the Operating Room. I am a retired Assistant Professor and taught Critical Care Nursing for 25 years. Even as I taught, I considered it a form of creative "performance", always engaging my student audience and inspiring them to learn serious content.

I am an avid traveler, conversationally proficient in Spanish, French and some Italian. I have several dialects in my repertoire. I also love to knit, crochet and cook.
